Position Summary

The Warehouse Turret Operator will be responsible for maneuvering turret trucks and reach power equipment. Additional responsibilities may include operating cherry pickers, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up pallet jacks. The primary tasks involve restocking warehouse shelves, managing put-aways, and fulfilling order picks.

Shift Details

The standard working hours are 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts and mandatory overtime based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the company's mission and culture by prioritizing people and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate turret trucks and other power/manual equipment as needed, including unloading shipments and relocating products to storage.
  • Efficiently organize and store products in designated areas.
  • Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and MSDS regulations.
  • Report any quality discrepancies.
  • Engage in team roles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at meeting cycle time, scheduling, and quality targets.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, promptly disposing of waste and returning unused materials to stock.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in an orderly manner and assist with physical inventory tasks.
  • Promote and observe safety and security protocols, using equipment and materials correctly.
  • Report all incidents and accidents to management without delay.
  • May involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
  • Experience operating sit-down power equipment for picking and storing pallets.
  • Ability to read and complete basic forms and checklists.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ability to balance individual and team responsibilities.
  • Frequent communication, hearing, and visual engagement required, along with standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for the safe operation of equipment.
  • Physical capability to lift, move, and handle equipment/products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent education.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating an order picker in a warehouse setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with various power equipment in a warehouse environment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position begins at $19 USD.
