Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Transition Specialist to join our team at Odle Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing career transition services to our clients, including job search skills, job placement, and job retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews with clients to assess their career goals and provide guidance on job search techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of active client files, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of all actions.
  • Attend meetings and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with center staff to plan and execute job fairs and career days.
  • Provide workshops and training sessions to clients on employability skills, career preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Maintain linkages with external resources, including military services, One Stops, and job banks.
  • Perform job development by screening job leads and arranging interviews.
  • Ensure accurate contact information is obtained from clients and their files are updated regularly.
  • Identify support services needed for independent living and make referrals to relevant agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, or a related field.
  • Associates degree with two years of related experience may be considered.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of case management, career counseling, and employment counseling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate clients.
