Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning experience.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and track student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to document student growth and development.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • New York State certification in Special Education Early Childhood (Birth-2nd Grade).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
