Job Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for the assembly of medical devices. The successful candidate will also assist teams in building, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical & electrical parts and assemblies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily tasks as directed by Supervisor or Lead Personnel.
  • Work with limited supervision and be involved in project planning.
  • Clearly follow directions and apply best solutions and working practices for making excellent prototype/product based on regulatory and engineering guidelines.
  • Perform all pertinent manufacturing assembly & quality procedures.
  • Gather all parts, tools, and supplies needed for a particular job.
  • Perform necessary testing required for projects and generate reports. Comply with company safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Technician in Medical Device or equivalent manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret basic schematic & mechanical CAD drawings.
  • Hands-on experience in micro scale components prototyping/manufacturing under microscope and machine shops skills such as Drilling, cutting, etc.
  • Working experiences with fine solder station under the microscope practice in electronics or equivalent.
  • Effective reading, writing, communication.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom (class ISO-7)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA degree or above is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
  • Critical thinking and ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-directed/ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical requirements/Work Environment:

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary; therefore, the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
