Automation Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing PLC controlled systems for material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Establish procedures for performing engineering work in the design and startup of PLC controlled systems.
- Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, electrical designs, installation support, and debugging.
- Resolve basic site requirement changes and support solutions to complete designed equipment installation.
- Receive company support both on-site and remotely to accomplish work.
- Analyze project requirements and perform basic controls troubleshooting to support equipment installation.
- Support electrical installation via interfacing with electrical installers.
- Debug electrical installation of controls and motor components of limited complexity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- 1-3 years of experience in controls engineering.
- Experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs, Studio 500, and Rockwell.
- Ability to travel 65-75% of the time.
