About the Role

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality images of the human body using magnetic resonance imaging technology. Your strong understanding of anatomy and MRI principles will enable you to produce accurate images that aid in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by providing clear instructions and answering questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Position patients according to established protocols to ensure desired anatomy is demonstrated.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, selecting software options and imaging parameters as needed.
  • Administer oral and IV contrast material as required.
  • Recognize changes in patient status and communicate effectively with nurses and physicians.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform daily quality assurance checks and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
  • Completion of MRI technology certificate program.
  • Registered or registry eligible in Magnetic Resonance through ARRT.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
