We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at King's Medical Group. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging scans, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our radiology team.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
- Screen patients for contraindications and communicate with radiologists as needed.
- Position patients on exam tables and adjust scan protocols to enhance image quality.
- Input exam information into our scan report database and reconcile information for accuracy.
- Participate in our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program and ensure compliance with MRI policies and procedures.
- ARRT Registration (or working towards)
- Venous Injection skills
- CPR Certification
- State License (if applicable)
- Associate's degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
