Job Summary

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and starting up commercial HVAC systems, including commercial DX equipment, intake/exhaust fans, split systems, heat pumps, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and start up commercial HVAC systems, including commercial DX equipment, intake/exhaust fans, split systems, heat pumps, and more.
  • Log HVAC equipment, including refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, and condition of equipment.
  • Drive to and from customer sites as needed.
  • Communicate with Team Lead, Coordination Staff, Sales Staff, and Customers.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal call-backs.
  • Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Observe, report, and correct unsafe work environments.
  • Will be included in on-call rotation as needed according to business volume and requirements.
Requirements
  • Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic refrigerant cycle, various heating components, and air distribution systems.
  • Proficient with brazing, leak checking, and the evacuation process.
  • Understands mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
  • Ability to abide by basic safe work practices.
  • 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Ability to show up on time, ready to work, and in uniform.
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
