ChristianaCare is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Postpartum Nurse Residency Program. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in maternal child nursing.
Program OverviewThe Postpartum Nurse Residency Program is a 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program designed to provide new RNs with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the postpartum unit. The program includes educational workshops, clinical training, and mentorship from experienced nurses.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to postpartum patients and their families
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in educational workshops and clinical training to enhance knowledge and skills
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school with a BSN degree
- Less than 12 months of experience as a RN
- Eligible for Delaware or Compact State licensure as a Registered Nurse
