About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Transportation and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of our transportation and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of goods.
  • Transportation Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute transportation activities, including pickups, deliveries, and returns.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze transportation and inventory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics and supply chain functions.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing budgets for transportation and inventory operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Address issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, and supplier performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on transportation and inventory performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, business administration, or a related discipline.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
