Job Overview:

The Area Mobile Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that skilled mobile technicians execute repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction across the service departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, and inspire qualified mobile service technicians while assisting in their development and mentorship alongside regional leadership.
  • Conduct all necessary diagnostic and documentation tasks using the company’s computer system.
  • Engage with customers and communicate any alterations in repairs that may impact costs or delivery timelines in a clear and professional manner.
  • Organize daily repair assignments for mobile technicians, aligning their skill sets with the required tasks to ensure quality and manage time off effectively.
  • Provide technical assistance to technicians as needed.
  • Ensure accurate billing for repairs, including warranty and policy repairs.
  • Monitor the progress of each repair order throughout the day.
  • Maintain high standards for service repairs to minimize rework. Conduct regular inspections of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality assurance.
  • Understand and ensure adherence to manufacturer warranty and policy protocols.
  • Guarantee that all department personnel receive appropriate training from manufacturers.
  • Establish and uphold a customer follow-up program to verify satisfaction with their service experience.

Basic Qualifications and Attributes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license with a driving record that meets the insurability criteria established by the company’s insurance provider.
  • Appropriate manufacturer training is required.
