Job Overview:

Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants is seeking a qualified Project Geotechnical Engineer.

The ideal candidate will oversee geotechnical, forensic, and construction initiatives, ensuring effective client engagement and budget management.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and executing field operations, which include the logging of borings, test pits, trenches, and cores; assessing geological and seismic risks; conducting forensic evaluations of compromised structures and landslides; performing analyses related to foundations, slope stability, and settlement; and drafting geotechnical engineering proposals and reports.

Additional responsibilities will encompass providing technical guidance to junior engineers, geologists, and field technicians.

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is required (Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering), with a Master’s degree preferred.

Essential Qualifications:
The successful applicant should possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in geotechnical consulting. Familiarity with local engineering practices and experience in the region are highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
