Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at our Chateaugay, NY location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Install new electrical, building, and equipment projects
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure minimal disruptions to production
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve long-term goals
  • Train and mentor maintenance employees and apprentices
Requirements:
  • Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience as an electrician in an industrial environment (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred)
  • Strong safety record and awareness
  • Ambition to learn and mentor others
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong communication and computer skills
