Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEPS Infrastructure team in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical power systems for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and specify electrical power systems for water and wastewater projects
  • Lead multiple design projects and manage junior engineers to execute projects
  • Design opportunities included low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities
  • Provide electrical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
  • Review and approve contractor submittals
  • Execute redline markups from engineers
  • Sizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systems
  • Coordinate with engineering staff to successfully execute electrical designs
Requirements:
  • BS in electrical engineering or related degree
  • 10+ years of design or WW/W operation experience on industrial projects
  • PE preferred
  • Must have experience designing electrical systems and producing design documents in AutoCAD. Revit experience preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and determination
  • Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes, and other related Codes
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface
