Legal Document Coordinator
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Document Coordinator to join our team at Jamison Professional Services, Inc. in Shreveport, LA.
Description of Services:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal document review and staffing support services to the United States Attorney's Office (USAO).
Key Responsibilities:- Examine voluminous amounts of documents relevant to pending litigation and ongoing investigations.
- Assess relevance or responsiveness of legal data with knowledge of case facts and applicable law.
- Perform page-by-page review and analysis of documents and evidence, organizing information manually and electronically.
- At least one year of general experience in the legal field with clerical, office, or related work that demonstrates ability to acquire necessary knowledge and skills.
- Certificate or Associate's Degree in office administration, paralegal studies, or a related field.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and people dealing skills.
- Knowledge of legal terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to conduct legal research using digital platforms for case law, statutes, regulations, and legal analysis tools.
This is a 40-hour work week schedule Monday through Friday.
Compensation:$45,000 per year.
