About the Role:

  • Lead by Example: As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
  • Medication Management: You will be responsible for managing medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Resident Care: You will implement individual plans of care for residents and monitor staff providing care to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care.
  • Communication: You will be responsible for notifying nurse managers, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and taking follow-up action as necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will receive, transcribe, and carry out physician's orders, order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as necessary, and perform additional tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong nursing and leadership skills are essential for this role.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions are necessary for this position.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are required to provide high-quality care to our residents.
