Hospital Floor Care Technician

Forrest General Hospital is seeking a qualified Hospital Floor Care Technician to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of hospital floors.
Key Responsibilities:- Strip, wax, and buff hospital floors to ensure they are clean and safe.
- Clean and maintain carpets and other flooring surfaces.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
- Use chemicals and supplies safely and effectively.
- Move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Interact with patients, families, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements:To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of previous work experience, preferably in a housekeeping or healthcare setting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good judgment and initiative.
- The ability to relate well to others.
