Job Summary:

The Senior Account Executive (Trucking/Transportation) will play a crucial role in nurturing the expansion and prosperity of our client's accounts, overseeing, cultivating, and spearheading continuous enhancement and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Top-Line Growth: Find ideal shippers to build the Account Executive's book of business, fostering customer satisfaction and driving innovation.
  • Solution Selling: Engage with senior-level/c-suite team members, internally and externally, to offer consultative solutions and products that meet shippers' logistics challenges.
  • Account Management: Own all core growth metrics for your portfolio of mid-market accounts, developing process and system improvements to raise execution standards.
  • RFP Activities: Facilitate Requests for Proposal activities for portfolio accounts, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive Quarterly Business Reviews with your portfolio of accounts, continually raising CSAT scores for managed accounts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales industry experience with Mid Market + Enterprise size companies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business or Supply Chain is a plus).
  • Relationships: Good standing relationships with shippers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Logistics Experience: EXPERIENCE in the logistics & transportation industry.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • TMS Experience: TMS experience.
  • Software Proficiency: EXPERIENCE with Salesforce, Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom Info, LinkedIn Navigator.
  • Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of internal and external partners.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to solve complex customer problems.

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution.
