Building Operations Engineer

Job Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for the upkeep, diagnostics, and repair of all operational systems within the facility. This role is primarily day shift, ensuring the smooth functioning of our building operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting all preventative and necessary maintenance, along with repairs, on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding of the facility's operational systems to promptly address any irregularities.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance, which includes lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and the replacement of consumable components.
  • Overseeing systems such as air handling units, water pumping systems, and all plumbing components.
  • Responding effectively to tenant concerns regarding safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental issues.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records, and coordinating with contractors for any external work required.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed with a focus on tenant safety and uninterrupted facility operations.
  • Adhering to all operational procedures and protocols established for the site.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

All candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.


Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building operations engineering.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and make informed decisions.
  • General proficiency in computer applications.
  • Any required licenses pertinent to the role.

Typical working conditions without any adverse elements.

Compensation:
The anticipated annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with the final salary determined based on individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and education. In addition to the base salary, a competitive benefits package is offered, along with potential bonuses and other incentives.
