We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our team at Ethan Conrad Properties, Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds
- Assist in monitoring building automation systems (BMS) and HVAC operations
- Utilize trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to perform tasks
- Respond to building emergencies and tenant service requests
- Interact with vendors and contractors in a professional manner
- Tour mechanical areas to evaluate equipment operation and parameters
- Check buildings regularly to maintain proper temperature for tenant areas
- Assist in maintaining good housekeeping and perform miscellaneous duties as requested
- 5-10 years of experience as an HVAC Building Engineer
- Good math and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Self-motivated, confident, and organized
- Excellent work ethic, work habits, and integrity
- Ability to interact with clients, senior management, staff, and vendors
- General repair, electrical troubleshooting skills, and HVAC and Refrigeration experience
- Good to excellent personal computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- HVAC BMS controls experience
