Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Change Management processes to ensure IT infrastructure data accuracy and minimize risk during IT changes and own the Technology change risk and controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • CMDB Management:
    • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data.
    • Develop and implement CMDB policies and procedures.
    • Standardize data collection and population methods for the CMDB.
    • Conduct regular CMDB audits and data cleansing activities.
  • Change Management:
    • Oversee the change management process according to defined ITIL or similar frameworks.
    • Assess the impact and risk of proposed changes.
    • Develop and implement change plans to minimize disruption.
    • Track and document the change approval process.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding changes.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure CMDB data reflects IT infrastructure reality.
    • Provide CMDB and change management process training to stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve CMDB and change management processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage technology change management risks, controls, and audit activities.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent professional experience.
    • Customer service attitude and ability to work well with other groups.
    • Organized, reliable and meticulous.
    • 5+ years of experience leading change management.
    • 5+ years IT service management.
    • 5+ years CMDB administration.
    • 5+ years experience with ServiceNow Change Management and CMDB module.
    • Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
    • Familiarity with IT risk and controls management/governance.
    • 3+ years of recent hands on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration, including knowledge of the change management and CMDB modules. Basic scripting skills (JavaScript, GlideScript) to develop and modify simple scripts and business rules within ServiceNow.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about process improvements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and executives.
    Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $180,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001's benefits package. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the Company's comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plan options.
