Internal Wholesaler


Position Summary:


The primary function of the role is to provide consultative sales support and case design to external producers along with quotes and case design for the internal case management and sales team.


Responsibilities:


Support External Financial Advisors and Insurance Agents:


  • Field inbound calls regarding life insurance product questions and case impairments
  • Maintain knowledge of various carriers’ products as well as the competition
  • Run product quotes and illustrations along with providing next steps instructions and best practices
  • Make carrier and product recommendations based on client needs and preferences
  • Educate and encourage producers on the usage of accelerated underwriting and simplified application processes
  • Exhibit initiative to build new relationship and grow life insurance business
  • Record and track all producer requests and activities in the CRM System


Support Internal Teams:


  • Support sales activities of the field team of Regional Directors
  • Coordinates with the Regional Director on sales ideas, sales activities, and administration tasks
  • Assist case management team with illustrations and case design changes throughout the underwriting process
  • Collaborate with new business and underwriting teams to consistently improve internal processes and efficiencies
  • Attend weekly sales staff meetings and provide feedback of producer activity from the previous week


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or experience equivalent
  • Experience in Financial Services (1-2 years)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Pennsylvania Life & Health Insurance License
  • Advanced computer skills; MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Any CRM experience highly desired (Duncan uses Redtail CRM)
  • Proficient in Internet Applications, including carrier and vendor websites
  • Ability to learn and adopt new processes and technology
  • Written and verbal communication proficiency
  • Accountability
  • Time management, organization, and administrative proficiencies
  • High degree of confidentiality


Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm


Office Location: 311 Main Street, Irwin, PA 15642
