The Account Manager for Search Solution Group is a pivotal role within our organization, a full-service firm renowned for its media and analyst relations, original content development, corporate messaging, and social media services, particularly within the healthtech and pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Proactive Media Coverage: Manage media outreach, content development, and analyst relations with a high level of accuracy and accountability, playing a critical role in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Secure Regular Coverage: Drive proactive media coverage for each assigned client, managing media lists and keeping up to date with media interactions, securing at least eight proactive articles per month across the client base, ensuring consistent visibility.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key industry journalists and analysts to secure regular coverage and insights, developing effective pitches that interest target media and result in regular coverage for clients.
- Content Development: Produce a minimum of four pieces of content per month, including bylines, Q&A articles, and press releases, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the client's voice.
- Analyst Relations: Identify key industry analysts and secure at least three briefings per quarter, providing strategic recommendations to clients based on their goals.
- Client Presentation: Present a professional and progressive image of the PR agency to clients, employees, and partners, leading by example, demonstrating ethical behavior and enthusiasm for client technology and progress.
- Metrics and Hours: Monitor and track metrics and hours with the account manager to ensure all goals are met.
- Client Trust: Build client trust through enthusiasm for the industry and a commitment to deepening expertise and knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in PR, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of agency or in-house experience, particularly in a B2B technology or healthtech/pharma domain.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion, with an eye for budget adherence and meeting deadlines, strong relationships with analysts and media, particularly in healthtech and pharma, proficiency in PR and marketing tools such as Meltwater, Cision, and common software applications like Word, Excel, and project management tools.
- Communication: Articulate and persuasive, with a talent for presenting information clearly and effectively.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Relationship Building: Proven track record of building strong relationships with clients, media, and analysts.

- Organizational Skills: Efficient and organized, with the ability to maintain productivity under tight deadlines.
