About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Zoning and Permitting Specialist to join our team at Delta Oaks Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various zoning and building permitting tasks in the telecommunications, renewable energy, commercial, and governmental industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site feasibility research and zoning analyses to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and submit zoning applications, conditional use permits, variances, building permits, and other necessary documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate the planning and zoning aspects of telecommunications and renewable energy projects.
  • Research and analyze zoning regulations and building codes to ensure compliance.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with local planning departments, zoning boards, and other relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of zoning and permitting activities.
  • Proactively identify and address zoning and permitting challenges.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in zoning and building permitting, preferably in the telecommunications and/or renewable energy industry.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal zoning regulations and building codes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
