MEDICORP INC is seeking an experienced Associate Program Director/Academic Physician to provide leadership and expertise to our General Surgery Residency program.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Program Director in providing administrative leadership and direction to the program
- Provide direct patient care and supervise residents in clinical settings
- Develop, revise, and maintain curriculum for the residency program
- Lead performance improvement plans, coaching, remediation, and disciplinary activities as needed
- Oversight of General Surgery residency support staff and outpatient continuity clinic experience
- Experience teaching in an approved ACGME General Surgery Residency program
- Publications and grant writing skills preferred
- University affiliation and leadership experience
