About the Role
The Korte Company is seeking a skilled Diversified Operations Specialist to join our team in Highland, IL. This position will be responsible for collaborating with our Diversified Operations Manager and Project Managers to facilitate all aspects of our project.
Key Responsibilities
- Self-performing work as needed
- Perform carpentry work in a safe manner
- Work independently and with a team
- Manage project staff, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Manage subcontractors while staying on schedule
- Assist with callbacks, warranties, or emergencies
- Facilitate information flow among owners, designers, preconstruction, quality assurance, subcontractors, suppliers, and field divisions
Requirements
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional in actions and appearance
- Effective interactions with owners, subcontractors, employees, and assistants
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to travel at least 50%
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks at military bases
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience in a similar role is considered but not required
