Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at 11th Hour Staffing. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repair on all equipment throughout the facility, office, and manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all required electrical maintenance and repair on all equipment throughout the facility, office, and manufacturing areas.
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment by interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics drawings and related machinery operation, leveraging proactive, collaborative discussions with others (managers, mechanics, millwrights, machinists, operators) to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Program and troubleshoot multiple manufacturers PLCs used within ICC facilities and production equipment with computers, I/O lists, program documents.
  • Support vision inspection systems (calibrations, adjustments).
  • Can trace/troubleshoot relay logic controls, has understanding of relay logic.
  • Research and recommend improvements and upgrades in all electrical systems throughout the plant.
  • Install new electrical equipment as required and permitted by law.
  • Install conduit, wire, controls, etc. as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Courses as required by the Company to complete 8000 hour electrical training program to attain Journeyman papers.
  • Courses as necessary to remain knowledgeable and ratified in electrical codes.
  • Valid License required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain and upgrade all electrical systems.
  • PLC experience a must.
  • Have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general and professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Work Schedule:

7-day work week 1st shift 7AM-3:30PM (possibility to have 1-2 weekends off per month)

Pay:

$30+/hr depending on experience level
