Memory Care Coordinator
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Coordinator to join our team at Danbury Westerville. As a member of our community leadership, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic programs to meet the needs of our residents. The ideal candidate will have a nursing background, be experienced in working with dementia individuals, and have a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement therapeutic programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents
- Assess resident characteristics and develop personalized care plans
- Monitor daily program functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with staff to develop and conduct training programs
- Establish and maintain effective teamwork and communication
- Participate in support groups and stay up-to-date on research and new programs
- Assess educational needs of staff and provide training and support
- Market the program through community involvement and outreach
Preferred Qualifications:
- LPN certification
- Experience working with Alzheimer's and other dementia individuals
- Previous programming experience
- Background in nursing and providing care for seniors
