About HOPE Transitional Treatment Center

HOPE Transitional Treatment Center is a facility dedicated to providing residential and outpatient chemical dependency treatment for individuals involved with the justice system.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Residential Facility Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with the directives of Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and monitor the resident population, promptly reporting any suspicious activities or breaches of policy by residents or visitors.
  2. Conduct inspections of the facility and living quarters, documenting findings to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  3. Enforce operational regulations and manage access to restricted areas.
  4. Assist in the intake and discharge processes of residents, maintaining accurate records of arrivals and departures.
  5. Complete necessary documentation including sign-in/out logs and leave passes.
  6. Maintain an updated roster of resident assignments, including housing and program participation.
  7. Facilitate instructional sessions for residents as directed by management.
  8. Administer drug testing in accordance with established policies.
  9. Oversee residents' self-administration of medication.
  10. Ensure regular attendance and be prepared to work overtime as required.
  11. Encourage the development of positive social skills by modeling appropriate behavior and intervening when necessary.
  12. Maintain accountability for staff, residents, and facility property while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. A minimum of six months of experience in a residential or similar setting is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in residential facility operations. Basic computer skills are advantageous. A valid Texas driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is mandatory.

Post-Hire Requirements:
Within six months of employment, candidates must complete T4T (Training for Trainers) and fulfill annual training requirements. Successful completion of an annual background check is also required, along with passing a drug screening.
