We are seeking an experienced and skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated medical professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients in the Four Corners Region.

About the Opportunity

This role involves direct patient care, including contact with outpatient COVID-19 patients in the urgent care setting. You will also provide comprehensive therapeutic and preventative health services to individual patients, families, and groups in home or community-based settings as a primary health resource and physician extender.

The ideal candidate will possess active licensure as a Medical Doctor in this state or any other state in the United States throughout the duration of the contract. Board Certification or Board Eligibility with the American Board of Family Medicine is also required, along with BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly participate in medical care of patients, performing functions delineated by the medical staff privileging process.
  • Adhere to the scope of work and accept work assignments from the Clinical Director as necessary.
  • Provide direct care/services to pediatric, geriatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
  • Assess and diagnose needs to produce a plan of action to meet identified needs.
  • Apply Medical Doctor skills in all phases of healthcare services.
  • Assist with community outreach activity in the local area.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $**$175,000-$200,000**, based on industry standards for family medicine physicians in the region. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes benefits and perks tailored to meet the needs of our medical professionals.
