Grants Coordinator

As a Grants Coordinator, you will work in the Vascular Division, where we are focused on helping people with heart failure manage their health and ultimately change and save lives. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective grant administration support to an office, sharing responsibility with the Grants Team for the workflow of a medical device grant and charitable portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with grant cycle: application and due-diligence, review and decision, notification and follow-up.
- Work with grant requestors (hospitals, universities, societies) to complete grant applications appropriately.
- Contribute to Grant Leadership and/or Grant Review Committee decision-making process by demonstrating knowledge of Abbott policy and procedure and external guidelines such as AdvaMed Code and ACCME guidelines.
- Provide support for all aspects of the Patient Assistance Product Donations program, ensuring that product is donated to hospitals and mission groups in a time-sensitive environment.
- Front-line customer service answers phone and replies to email from internal and external inquiries.
- Actively participates in grant team meetings.
- Works independently, exhibiting critical thinking skills. Collaborative with a team.
- Assists with grant tracking, budget reconciliations, and Sunshine Act reporting for fellowships.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 2 years Experience.
- MS Office suite and MS Teams.
- Expert-level business communication skills.
- Grant management database: Blackbaud SKY or GPAS or similar.
- Accounts Payable (CONCUR Invoice) and experience with budgets.
