Job Overview

BrightPath Kids USA is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Care Lead Teacher to join our team at Kid Works in Mt. Healthy, OH. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children in one assigned classroom.
  • Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
  • Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
  • Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
  • Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Career Pathway Level 3 required or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized.
  • Ability to work within regular operating hours.
  • Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
