Senior Associate, Federal Technology Risk Management Expert

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute IT audit readiness engagements, including system development, package implementation, IT deficiency remediation/validation, PBC response, business process improvement, audit coaching/IT audit liaison support, assessment and accreditation, IT compliance assessments, and IT strategy reviews for U.S. Federal government clients
  • Evaluate, remediate, and validate technology controls throughout the business cycle
  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients
  • Supervise associates and interns on engagements
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and upper management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience in IT audit readiness, internal or external IT audit, risk assessment, business process reengineering, Enterprise Resource Planning packages, commonly encountered operating system and database technologies, and Customer Relationship Management packages
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Strong leadership/communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings/recommendations to the client's senior management team
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • U.S. Government Secret clearance required
