Job Summary:The CNA/Med Tech is responsible for providing routine care to residents in accordance with CRISTA's established policies and procedures. This includes providing the highest level of quality patient care, developing positive relationships with residents and their families, and collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide prescribed medications to residents as instructed by nurse delegation
- Verify resident identity before administering treatment or serving food
- Assist residents with dental and oral care, meal preparation, and eating
- Perform after-meal care, including cleaning residents' hands, face, clothing, and teeth
- Report all complaints and concerns to the nurse
- Watch for and report any changes in room temperature, ventilation, or lighting
- Support residents in arranging their living space to foster a "home" environment
- Report all hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, and incidents to the nurse
- Chart required information on nursing order flow sheets
- Collaborate with residents to develop a daily care schedule based on resident preferences and history
- Previous experience as a NAC in LTC or other related healthcare setting
- WA state NAC license in good standing
- CPR/First Aid card
- Nurse Delegation Core and Mental Health/Dementia Certification
- Ability to read, write, communicate in, and interpret English at a functional level
- Food handlers permit
