Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or alternate community settings within sections of Essex County, NJ.
Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate clients for speech and language therapy needs and develop and implement appropriate plans of action in collaboration with physicians.
- Document all changes in client conditions and update care plans and outcomes accordingly.
- Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
- Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
- Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
- Adhere to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid NJ driver's license.
