About Our Cancer CenterOur cancer center offers advanced cancer detection and treatment services, including sophisticated radiation therapy equipment, chemotherapy, and cancer specialists and support staff. We have seven private treatment suites, a refurbished patient and family resource room, and a $1.5 million state-of-the-art TrueBeam linear accelerator.
About Our Practice- We have a collaborative team of experienced Hem/Oncs, a Radiation Oncologist, a Dosimetrist, a Physicist, an Oncology Pharmacist, 4 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 Nurse Coordinator.
- We have a 1:3 call schedule and 7 private treatment suites.
- We offer a TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and a multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly.
- We have a clinic adjacent to an Infusion Center with an onsite pharmacy and an active Research program.
- We have a teaching affiliation with Kansas City University and offer medical students in clinic with a stipend.
- We use system-wide EPIC HER and have a diversity of cases due to our 30-mile radius catchment area.
- A 2-year guarantee of $600,000 and $75,000 in Recruitment Incentives.
- Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.
- As a not-for-profit system, Mercy qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
- 4 weeks' vacation plus 6 holidays (while on guarantee).
- 1 week for CMEs and an annual $5,000 CME allowance.
- Comprehensive, day one benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement (401k/403b/457b) plans.
