Adjunct Professorship Opportunity

Pittsburg State University seeks part-time Adjunct Lecturers in Communication to teach undergraduate courses in various areas, including Communication Ed, Human Communication, Strategic Communication, Multimedia Journalism, and Media Production.

As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching one or more courses in the program areas identified, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of the field to engage and educate students.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's Degree in the relevant field, as well as effective oral and written communication skills, knowledge of a course management system (Canvas), and experience with online instruction. Instructor experience in higher education or with adult learners is preferred.

The appointment duration and work schedule will vary based on need, and employment with Pittsburg State University is contingent on a satisfactory criminal background and sex offender check. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

We offer a competitive salary range, estimated to be around $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
