Medical Assistant Professional Austin Texas

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension Seton in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
About the Role:
- Assist with patient examination and treatment under the direction of a provider.
- Perform various clinical duties, including vital sign measurement and recording, preparation of treatment rooms, and basic clerical tasks.
- Document patient information, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
- Transcribe patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
Requirements:
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- One or more of the following medical assistant certifications obtained within 6 months of hire date required:
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
