**Job Description:**

We are seeking a Data Manager to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing department-wide databases and providing insight and feedback to improve department- and school-wide infrastructure and systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with analysts and informatics staff and with external data teams in Dell Medical School's partner institutions.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets and be able to maintain department-wide databases.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages department-wide databases.
  • Provides insight and feedback to improve department- and school-wide infrastructure and systems.
  • Works closely with analysts and informatics staff and with external data teams in Dell Medical School's partner institutions.
  • Maintains department-wide databases.
  • Provide mentorship to fellows and residents when applicable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with large datasets and data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
