Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in hospice settings.

About the Role:

  • This is a PRN position, working variable shifts as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients in need of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility.
  2. Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake and output, and other essential measurements.
  3. Administer treatments as directed by licensed nurses and maintain accurate records of interventions.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospice care.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $30-$40 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits, 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, and PTO accrual beginning Day 1.
