Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our prestigious property management team as an Assistant Maintenance Manager at our luxury apartment community in Liberty Towers, Jersey City, NJ.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily building maintenance and operations, filling resident work requests, and performing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily building maintenance and operations
  • Fulfill resident work requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and property inspections
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and/or electric maintenance
  • EPA & CPO certification
  • Black Seal License
  • Basic knowledge and experience in repair and troubleshooting of 220 & 120 volts, as well as some low voltage
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Be able to obtain Fire Safety Manager Certificate
  • Previous maintenance experience in residential real estate &/or hospitality industries required
  • Must be available for emergency/on call situations; some weekends required
