About the Role

The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in directing and managing the construction tasks and activities of subcontractors, craft, and labor crews for Ferrovial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Direct field and subcontractor personnel to meet schedule and production goals, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  • Schedule field personnel assignments and oversee the ordering of materials to maintain a well-organized job site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
  • Ensure that safety protocols are followed throughout the construction process, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain open communication and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of project activities, providing regular updates to the project management team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of success on large-scale projects.
  • Experience working on highway, bridge/structure, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
