Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at InterSources Inc. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Office 365. This includes managing servers and systems, monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. You will also ensure that records of systems and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Additionally, you will participate in projects to implement applications to the server infrastructure in support of a business need or a business solution to ensure operational reliability.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Office 365.

* Manage servers and systems, monitor system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair.

* Ensure that records of systems and equipment inventory are properly maintained.

* Participate in projects to implement applications to the server infrastructure in support of a business need or a business solution to ensure operational reliability.

* Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of critical system resources.

* Develop and coordinate project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impact on the customer organizations.

* Participate in planning and implementation of projects for system operations and systems administration.

* Plan, organize, and document complex system design activities and configure systems to be consistent with policies/procedures.

* Interface with customers, peers, and managers to evaluate and understand business needs.

* Participate in the investigation and resolution of cybersecurity related incidents.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent training and experience.

* Minimum of seven (7) years relevant Senior Systems Administrator experience including complex systems design, programming, and systems software and support.

* Must have experience in the design, planning, and implementation of reliable enterprise level systems.

* Additional experience and/or knowledge of: Microsoft Azure Entra ID administration and security, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange 2016, ProofPoint, Exchange Online Protection, Azure Workload Design, Implementation, Security, Enterprise Applications, App Integrations, Microsoft Azure Governance, Design, Planning, Policies, Security, Conditional Based Access, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, Windows 2022, 2019, and 2016 Operating Systems, Active Directory, ADCS, DNS, WINS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, PowerShell, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

* Skills: Exceptional communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization and with individuals from diverse disciplines and levels of technical expertise.

* Detail oriented and effective time management and organizational skills.

* Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Organized and able to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy.

* Excellent customer service skills to support all personnel.

* Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others and lead projects to a successful end.

* Willingness and desire to learn new skills, technology, situations, and/or conditions.

* Ability to function professionally and effectively in a high-pressure environment.
