Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for a Part-time Universal Banker I to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to ensure an Excellent Customer Experience for all customers and employees.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, service-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and love helping people. They must demonstrate the ability to work independently and with a team, make sound decisions, and use critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all customer transactions at a proficient level, including providing overrides and approvals.
  • Own and work towards resolution of customer issues in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Regularly engage customers to understand needs and make appropriate product and service recommendations.
  • Easily assist customers with routine questions and account maintenance requests.
  • Open and close banking center, including all end of day processing.
  • Assist in daily operational activities of the banking center, including vault transactions, vault balancing, and end of day banking center balancing.
  • Comply with and complete training for all required Regulations.
  • Complete required reports accurately and timely.
  • Begin to learn new account basics and more complex customer inquiries and transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered, taking responsibility to remain updated.
  • Take ownership of own development, requesting assistance when necessary.
  • Represent Peoples Bank professionally at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
