Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, System and Applications to join our team. As a member of the processors product line, you will work on cutting-edge processors and microcontrollers central to our goal of enabling the intelligent edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders, architects, algorithm experts, software engineers, and hardware designers to define and create innovative solutions to solve customer challenges in state-of-the-art applications such as autonomous and electric vehicles, intelligent robotics, and renewable energy.
- Develop and maintain software applications and systems that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software and hardware components.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, Python, VHDL, and software development tools and techniques.
- Proficient with electrical lab equipment and familiarity with fieldbus and other industrial communications protocols and techniques.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) / Distributed control system (DCS) and programming Robotics Systems.
- Knowledge of mainstream Tier 1 automation frameworks and IoT platforms for industrial applications.
- Knowledge of or experience with real-time field-level industrial applications and Inverter applications such as multi-axis servo motor control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
