Supervisory Dentist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Supervisory Dentist, you will be responsible for providing dental care services to patients, supervising a team of dental professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dental care services to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Supervise a team of dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and assistants.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, including maintaining accurate records and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the dental clinic.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- At least 2 years of experience as a supervisory dentist or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
This position is eligible for workplace flexibilities, including remote work or telework options, and/or flexible work scheduling. The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.
