Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to provide exceptional care for our Primary & Urgent Care patients. The ideal candidate will exhibit clinical proficiency by applying medical knowledge and techniques independently to serve a diverse patient population. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient histories and identify any abnormal conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient symptoms to determine optimal treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatments and medical events.
  • Document patient medical information and ensure patient charts are up-to-date.
  • Educate patients regarding their health conditions and available treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain patient records within facility databases and manage patient files efficiently.
  • Engage in ongoing education to enhance skills and stay current with medical practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, including patient confidentiality and risk management.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy when interacting with patients and colleagues.
  • Adapt to varying patient flow and operational demands while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant License in Tennessee.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or similar settings.
  • Current CPR Certification.
