Role of a FIELD CREW FOREMAN

As a Foreman, you will play a vital role in the installation of stairs, rails, and various metal components, ensuring outstanding quality and accuracy.

Your proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints will be essential as you coordinate daily tasks with the General Contractor, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective workflow. Your skills in organizing and directing crews, tools, and materials will be crucial to the success of each project. Safety is our utmost priority, and as a Foreman, you will guarantee that all crew members possess the necessary certifications, adhere to job-site safety regulations, and maintain a secure working environment.

Through diligent monitoring and reporting, you will address any safety violations or potential risks, prioritizing the well-being of our team and other tradespeople. As a key member of our organization, you will participate in job-site meetings and complete daily reports, keeping all parties informed and on track. Your attention to detail will extend to the upkeep of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

Additionally, you will act as our on-site safety representative, ensuring that all personnel comply with safety protocols and utilize the required protective gear. To thrive in the role of Field Crew Foreman, certain competencies are essential for successful performance. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is critical to ensure accurate layout and installation of stairs, rails, and various metal components. Strong leadership skills are necessary to effectively instruct and organize the crew, tools, and materials.

Successful candidates must possess excellent communication abilities and the capacity to coordinate daily activities with the General Contractor. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that crew members have the necessary certifications and qualifications to operate equipment and tools safely are vital.

Knowledge of job-site safety regulations is crucial to maintain a secure working environment. In terms of software and tools, proficiency in relevant construction software and tools is a must, including project management, blueprint reading, and scheduling software. Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in metalwork and installation is also essential.
