About the Role:
HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in the PCU setting, utilizing your expertise in critical care nursing practices.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote positive patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and reducing readmissions.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor to junior nursing staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
• Active Hawaii License prior to start of contract
• 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a PCU or ICU setting
• Strong knowledge of ACLS and BLS/BCLS certification
• Ability to work consecutive weekends as needed and float to Med/Surg for low-need days
Compensation and Benefits:
• Estimated salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience
