Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team at Astro Waste Inc. This role is responsible for processing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Daily Work Order Tickets from the Dispatch department.
  • Communicate with drivers as needed regarding missing information on work order tickets.
  • Setup new customer accounts and manage COD transactions.
  • Compute and collect payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions daily.
  • Maintain accurate customer account balances by totaling unpaid invoices.
  • Contact customers regarding past due invoices via phone, email, or any other means necessary to collect.
  • Verify business transactions for accuracy and perform data entry duties.
Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP principles is essential.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A deadline-oriented individual with a friendly demeanor is ideal.
What We Offer

  • An estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
